Unfortunately, a major issue with file version handling was introduced in release 5.4.7. See Mantis 26540: https://mantis.ilias.de/view.php?id=26540

A patch was already committed by the maintainer to the release_5-4 branch. Please update your installations directly via Git to get the patch - or wait for a new release.
