PSR-12

Hi everyone! TL/DR: trunk and release_8 use a PSR-12 based coding style now. Tooling is adjusted accordingly. As discussed on JF 2022-05-16, I just merged the changes to our coding style to the code base: https://github.com/ILIAS-eLearning/ILIAS/commit/5cc1052bf902f6bf26629e61ceb… https://github.com/ILIAS-eLearning/ILIAS/commit/b05fd1e5cae73277538503244cc… This comes with the according changes in the tooling: https://github.com/ILIAS-eLearning/ILIAS/commit/7f049b9d341f809cecb641f1207… https://github.com/ILIAS-eLearning/ILIAS/commit/42cd05c7380311a44c7c68a480c… and commits that apply the change to trunk and release_8. Michael Jansen kindly provided an according config for PHPStorm: https://github.com/ILIAS-eLearning/ILIAS/blob/trunk/docs/development/code-s… Please carefully watch the changes introduced via PHPStorm with this config. Call for Papers for DevConf 2022 : Reminder

We are invititing all ILIAS developers to contribute to the programme of the Bologna DevConf at 07 SEP 2022. We are looking for suggestions for workshops, presentations, tutorials or live coding. ILIAS 8 » Accessibility-Issues in euren Komponenten?

Liebe Entwickler und Entwicklerinnen, liebe Service-Provider, ILIAS 8 ist in der Betaphase angekommen. Es liegt bereits ein erster Report zur Barrierefreiheit von ILIAS 8 (Alpha) vor. Siehe: https://docu.ilias.de/goto_docu_frm_6952_8277.html Im Rahmen eines Projektes, welches durch das Land Niedersachsen mit Finanzierung unterlegt wurde, steht Funding zur Behebung von Accessibility-Issues zur Verfügung. Konkret für ILIAS 8, aber auch für Issues, die auch schon in 6 und 7 gemeldet wurden und damit noch unter 7, 8 und weiteren auftreten dürften. (Für die nur noch kurze Restlebenszeit für ILIAS 6 würde ich da keinen Mühen mehr investieren.) Meine Bitte an euch: Bitte gebt mir und Matthias ein Zeichen, in welchem Umfang ihr für o.g. Releases Accessibility-Issues fixen könntet. Bitte auch unter beispielhafter Benennung einzelner Issues. Für eine Offerte ist keine Vollständigkeit erforderlich, jedoch ein Gesamtumfang im Sinne eines Stunden- oder Tagesvolumens. Die Offerte selbst muss am Ende an die Uni Hannover – Matthias und ich übernehmen nur koordinative Aufgaben. Zur Zeit sind sämtliche Accessibility-Issues aus dem Report für ILIAS 8 dem Leiter der SIG-Accessibility, Timon Amstutz, zugeordnet. Die vollständige Liste kann jederzeit in Mantis in der Kategorie "Accessibility / WCAG" konsultiert werden. Dort können sich Entwicklerinnen und Entwickler ein Bild der möglichen Aufgaben machen. Viele davon betreffen Legacy UI Components, welche nur implizite Maintainerschaften aufweisen. Fixes zu solchen Komponenten sind auch herzlichst als PR willkommen. Einen Wermutstropfen gibt es: Die Auftragsabwicklung (inkl. Rechnung) muss bis zum Ende des Jahres und damit real bis Anfang Dezember abgeschlossen sein. Andersherum wäre es politisch kein gutes Signal bei Bestehen der Finanzierung und dem Kennen von Problemen, die Mittel nicht abzurufen.
