Dear Developers,
Once again this year, we will be conducting a pre-test for the upcoming ILIAS version immediately following the beta release. The goal is to ensure that the community can test all components without encountering any major blockers.
To support the pre-test, I ask that you set aside time to work on fixes between November 4 and 17.
I’d also be happy to accommodate your preferred dates if you’d like to play a round of “bug ping-pong.” We’ll then retest your fixes very quickly on the official test platform.
In recent years, we’ve had very good results with this approach and have resolved quite a few blockers before the broader community testing began. This speeds up the start of testing and prevents redundant reports.
Thank you in advance for your support!
If you have any questions or would like to schedule a time-slot, please feel free to email me.
Best regards,
Fabian
Fabian

Test Management
Dear all,
We would like to publish ILIAS 9.23, 10.11 and 11.4 tomorrow on
Thursday, September 3, 2026. I apologise for the short notice, coming
as it does so close to the weekend, and for the resulting scheduling
difficulties that may arise for large hosting providers.
If you need more time to fix issues or finalize things that should
become part of this release, please let me know.
Best regards
Fabian Wolf
