Dear Developers With ILIAS 5.4 a customizable Main Manu will be implemented. Components will be able to propose their own Menu-Entries which can be configured in Administration. The Feature-Request is part of the Page Layout Revision: https://www.ilias.de/docu/goto_docu_wiki_wpage_3993_1357.html I’d like to propose and discuss the technical concepts of a MainManu Abstraction and how Components will be able to „register“ their menu entries. Announcement: Proposal for new Maintainence Modal

Dear Developer This mailing list is used for important announcements regarding new functions or interfaces as well as new guidelines and also updates regarding the development process. Yesterday, the TB proposed a new maintenance model as an alternative to the classic component maintainer model suited for certain very specific scenarios (see pull request on Github linked bellow).
