One of the Big Projects suggested for ILIAS 9 is "Views / InnerContent", see https://docu.ilias.de/goto_docu_wiki_wpage_7292_1357.html

This Project is at a very early stage but there are several objectives, we already  want to address in ILIAS 9. In short, "Views" are locations in ILIAS a user sees, e.g. all Tabs, Subtabs, "Unterwelten" a.s.o. With ILIAS 9 all of those "Views" shall get a unique Identification wich can be used for purposes such as the Online-Help and other features which must know where a user is currently in ILIAS.

I’d like to inform all interested people in a Kick-Off-Workshop which will give a deeper look into the ideas currently available and defining next steps. Please have a look at the possible dates for this workshop, after having a final date I will create an entry in the official Workshop-Datacollection on documents.ilias.de
