ILIAS 7.0 Released

Dear all, We are very happy to announce that the first stable release of our new ILIAS version 7 has been published today. ILIAS 7.0 tomorrow at April 30, 2021

Dear developers of ILIAS, I am happy to announce that we have reached 98% of passed test cases for version ILIAS 7 – which allows us to publish the first stable release tomorrow at 30 April 2021. Please feel free to commit your bugfixes until tomorrow morning. DRINGEND: Bugfixing für ILIAS 7

Liebe Maintainer, leider fehlen uns noch etwa 250 erfolgreich durchlaufene Testcases, damit wir für Release 7 die notwendigen 98% „passed“-Testcases erreicht haben und 7.0 stable veröffentlichen können. Aktuell stehen wir gerade mal bei 92%, siehe https://testrail.ilias.de/index.php?/milestones/view/13 <https://testrail.ilias.de/index.php?/milestones/view/13> Selbst wenn alle noch aktuell auf „Retest“ stehenden Testcases erfolgreich abgeschlossen werden, reicht deren Zahl nicht aus, um das festgeschriebene Ziel zu erreichen. Es müssen also noch etliche Bugs gefixt werden, damit wir releasen können. In Absprache mit dem Technical Board bitte ich euch eindringlich, in den nächsten 10 Tagen die noch offenen Mantis-Reports aus Testrail mit hoher Priorität zu bearbeiten. Wir haben als neues Release-Datum den 23. April festgelegt. Da alle Fixes noch retested werden müssen, wäre der 16.4. Deadline für die Bugfixes. Sollte es unter den noch offenen Reports Issues geben, die von der Mitarbeit anderer Entwickler abhängen, informiert diese bitte umgehend und fordert ihre Unterstützung ein. Wendet euch alternativ mit der Bitte an mich. Ich übernehme dann die Kommunikation. Sollte es Bugs geben, die aktuell nicht gefixt werden können, so sagt mir ebenfalls Bescheid und legt dar, wo das Problem liegt. In begründeten Fällen können wir einzelne Testcases aus dem Testrun entfernen, so dass diese keinen negativen Einfluss auf die Statistik haben. Ohne eure tatkräftige Unterstützung werden wir kein ILIAS 7.0-Release veröffentlichen können. Wir sind alle auf eure Unterstützung angewiesen. Sonst wird es nichts mit ILIAS 7. CSS Adjustments for 7
